The Second Day of Halloween was October 28th.  
MaKenzie and her Mommy and Daddy and their new puppy Presley came over to march in the Virginia Beach Halloween Parade.

We walked over to the staging area to get ready for the parade.

Took our pictures with the Monster Fire Truck that leads the parade.

Sasha and Kenzie pose by one of the big wheels.

Sasha checks out some of the other kids costumes.
This little guy dressed up like Edward Scissorhands definitely had the best homemade costume.

The parade was about to get under way but we had to wait for this surfer chick to get out of the way.

Then we started our march down Atlantic Avenue.

Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat were very popular.

With the new movie and PBS TV show, Curious George has made a big comeback.  Every little kid knew who we were.

Although Presly was a very popular attraction in the parade that day as well.

Eventually the little monkey started trailing behind, so The Man with the Yellow Hat carried her the rest of the way.

We posed for a lot of pictures.  I wonder if we were in the paper the next day?

A brief rest from dancing in front of the stage.

Then Mommy takes the monkey out dancing again.

This little monkey has some good moves.

MaKenzie takes a pony ride!

Sasha's fear of riding ponies keeps her on the sidelines but she likes watching them.

Next Sasha & Kenzie line up for some games.

Sasha did pretty good at the Pumpkin Bowling.  Maybe she'll be a champion child bowler like her Dad!

This little scary pirate looked good.

After they played the games, we watched the Disney Kids sing and dance for a while.
One of them was actually named Britney (maybe we'll be able to say we saw her when...)

After a long afternoon Curious George was all tuckered out.

Time to go home and eat Pumpkin Pie!

Pumpkin Pie and Petting Puppy.  Now that's a fun way to end the day!
