The Rowlands had to get a smaller tree this
year to accommodate all the presents.
Even with the extra space, the presents spilled far into the center of the
livingroom.
Everyone arrives and food is prepared. Mark & Alan survey the tables and muster a plan of attack.

Dad traditionally tastes all the food first "to make sure it's not poisoned" he says.
We asked Mark to "sit naturally' on this ladder for a picture. This was the best he could come up with.

And insists that Angela read her a story immediately
Then, uninterested in the gifts being unwrapped by anyone else, Sasha sneaks off to play with the train set in the Christmas Village
Maddie gets Voldemort's wand and quickly conjures up a new tee-shirt for herself.
Then sits down with her new manga and ignores Grandma's joyful opening of a new waffle maker.
Sylvie and Anna get Sneetches
and then immediately start complaining that they didn't get the vastly
superior ones "without" stars on their bellies.
Grandma got trapped under a pile of hugs.
Sasha gets a play dough activity fun table. Now she doesn't have to use her play dough floor mat of despair anymore!
Lisa gets jewelry and a blender. Someone really knows how to shop for the ladies.
Sasha unwraps her blue potty and then immediately hikes up her dress in the middle of the room and attempts a demonstration
We explain that the demo is not really
necessary, since everyone else in the room,
with the possible exception of Uncle Mark, is potty trained. So she just
gives it a dry test sit.
Alan gets his Kong DVD and a Angry gorilla
doll to cuddle while he's watching it.
As well as the book he wanted that documents the Zombie War against humanity.
And finally, the Simpsons Game of Life. To add to his collection.
Sasha & Anna test out their new nap blankets and pillows.
Angela & mark can now realize their dream of watching Ghostbusters while taking a bath with fancy soaps.
Sasha gets an Aqua Doodle and Tess gets the Se7en Gift Box
Holly, surrounded by her presents, shows off her tropical calendar and new Jeremy Enigk CD.
