Miscellaneous firsts for the month of April.  Sasha can say sentences now, like: "Daddy is a Baby!"  Which she thinks is hilarious.  She's a crazy climber now.  She'll climb up on anything and throw herself off with reckless abandon.  This is the first month that Sasha sleeps for the entire night in her crib.  She somehow figured out how to answer the phone, which is kind of complicated.  Her vocabulary has increased quite a bit.

Sasha says "Thank you" all the time now.  Whether it's appropriate or not.  She says it when you give her something or when she gives something to you.  It actually sounds like "Tee-Too" then she'll just stand there and look at you impatiently until you say "You're welcome."

Sasha's telling jokes now. Yesterday I was updating the pic of the week on her website and I pointed at the screen and said "who is that?" She knows who she is and she usually says "SASHA!" or if it's a pic of me she says "DADDY!" or Holly "Mama!" but she pointed at the pic of her yesterday and said "Monkey!" and then cracked up laughing. I asked her who it was again and she said "Kitty!" more laughing. I guess that's comedy for a kid who's almost 2.

Sasha's newest skill is "cramming."  As in, shoving food into her ears and up her nose when no one is looking.  So now we have to have constant surveillance while she's eating.  The other day she sneezed and a little pea flew out of her nose.  This was an hour or two after I extracted what I thought to have been everything she stuffed up there.  The gross little monkey!
